The difference you will make.

  • Identifying customers’ business needs and present a range of solutions that the Bank can provide. This will be achieved by following a referral model with the view to growing customer loyalty and deepening relationships in key locations that do not have a business banking manager coverage.

  • Deepening customer relationships through positive engagement and delivery of excellent customer service.

  • Growing customer loyalty in in key locations that do not have a Business Banking Manager allocated

  • Having complete training with our product partner Elavon to understand the world of accepting payments and how Elavon can support.

  • Proactive Customer outreach through ‘My Customer Contact’ will be linked to personalised customer data including sector and customer activity. You will be required to explore how a business takes payments and should a need be identified with the customers consent you will complete a detailed referral to Elavon

  • Having an advocate of Elavon and work alongside the Director Merchant Acquiring to raise the profile of both Business Banking and Elavon across the branch network

  • Rais ing the profile of the Santander and Elavon brand

What you will bring.

  • Good written and oral language skills to articulate technical issues associated to work area Knowledge of a range of standard computer software, plus Santander systems, company-wide procedures, policies, and guidelines

  • Demonstrating to our customers that we care and take the time to understand their individual needs by doing more than what would be expected of a bank

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role is currently office based/Home based until corona virus restrictions are lifted and we offer flexible working.

This is a 12 -month fixed term contract position
