You’ll be walking into an organisation who already have a global reputation, a well-established development function and a healthy pipeline of projects lined up.

They’ve made their name by building a suite of £multi-million logistics products, used by some of the largest haulage/transportation companies in the world, which operate on 4 continents and run 24/7, all year round.

Given the nature of this position, you’ll have strong written and documentation skills, as you’ll need to clearly describe requirements to prepare gap analysis documents, functional user stories and business case analysis etc.

You’ll be working alongside a team of Software Developers, helping them translate project requirements into code and regularly engaging with customers to understand their needs – most of the time these requirements can be quite complex and large-scale.

Their Devs use the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, SQL etc) – so any exposure in this environment would be an added bonus.

Where this role differs to most, is you’ll be able to travel internationally to meet with their customers. This will likely happen 4-6 times a year and could see you go to places like New Orleans, British Columbia and South Africa – fully expensed of course, and you’ll receive and additional working away allowance.

For now, I can see the role paying £45,000-£50,000. They’ve got a hybrid approach to remote working, so you’ll need to come into the office in Doncaster at least twice a week, the rest from home.
