Business Analyst

As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will be supporting the Workplace and Collaboration Services (W&C) to understand, track, co-ordinate and produce plans to underpin W&C delivery, ensuring validation of controls and key risk indicators. You will play a key role in representing W&C & developing a delivery plan for colleagues & other teams whilst mitigating any key risks and issues. You will manage the remediation activity along with communicating clear actions to colleagues for the milestone delivery.

What will you be doing?

  • Being responsible for managing the day to day monitoring of reporting for W&C position against all validating controls
  • Acting as a point of reference for all queries and initiatives from both programmes and W&C colleagues
  • You will support the W&C Management team to proactively manage their responsibilities and deadlines, risks, issues and breaches
  • Attending all the control board and process related meetings, steering groups, working groups and programme engagements as the W&C representative
  • Presenting to the W&C management team as and when required
  • Acting as a deputy for Head of Operational Governance as and when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience of Business Analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL Service Management Foundation with an understanding of Incident – Problem - Change
  • Experience in Excel, able to create reports, pivots, tables, charts, v look ups
  • Experience using MS Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Qualified in ITIL Service Management Foundation preferred
  • Leadership experience (projects, programmes, teams or activity streams)
  • Knowledge of Reporting/SQL/Tableau
  • Experience in managing difficult conversations

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
