Location: East Manchester.

Salary to £42,000

Working conditions: Hybrid, working two days in office

An exciting and high growth software house based in Manchester are currently hiring for an individual who wants to help support the implementation of their huge financial & procurement software into a host of household name, big brand clients.

Working across the full software development lifecycle process, you will engage directly with end clients in at the early requirements stage you will then carry that client through the full process working closely with senior stakeholders and the internal software development teams to help the client right through the implementation process.

Very quickly you will be hosting workshops with some of the biggest household names on the planet, working with C-suite to help guide them through a procurement journey with a software product that has won multiple awards and is designed to help save huge multinationals millions through their procurement processes.

Given the nature of the role, this position is ideal for someone who has a background in delivering software solutions as either a Project Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst.

As the software my client build is designed to help global companies manage their expenditure, it therefore offers cost savings once implemented. This has seen them take on more new clients during the pandemic and as a result they are expanding this team.

The position

As an Application & Implementation Consultant (Business Analyst) you will join our Professional Services team and be responsible for leading projects implementing our spend management suite for our customers. You will be given large responsibilities from the very beginning, driving exciting and challenging projects both nationally and globally across our various markets

Together with other project resources, you will guide our customers through the full onboarding lifecycle including solution design, deployment, UAT, and ultimately go-live and hypercare. The position is a combined role involving solution deployment & configuration as well as project management. Depending on project scope and complexity, you might in some cases perform tasks within both areas, and in others be more focused on one of them. You will over time have the opportunity to specialize more within one of the fields, depending on your specific profile and interests.

Some of the tasks you will be performing:

·Performing client requirements capture workshops and conduct training sessions at customer site and/or remotely

·Configuration of products based on customer needs and best practice

·General implementation management activities such as planning, time management & resourcing, project milestone management, and managing budgets

·Assist customers in analysing their current Procurement processes

·Assist customers in driving process improvement and business change initiatives

·Documentation of solution specifications and change requests

·Reporting to project stakeholders

Requirements for the position:

·People person with strong communication skills

·You are business minded and result-driven

·Must be self motivated and able to work with little or no supervision

·You must have excellent presentation skills

·The ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality and control

·Fluent in English language, both spoken and written, additional languages would be beneficial though not necessary

·Knowledge of IT systems in general, including Office365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)

·Available for travel to client sites. Most work is done from your desk, but there will be occasional visits to client sites as the project work warrants.

If you also have following experiences that is merit:

·Previous work experience from implementation of software solutions, ideally cloud-based/SaaS

·Previous experience of implementation or project management, preferably in the IT/SaaS industry

·Prior experience in Procurement or Spend management, S2P/P2P

·Prior experiences of working as a consultant

·Good general technology knowledge e.g. databases, web services

·Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX/Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV/Business Central, SAP, or Infor M3
