Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding company as Business Administrator Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work for a growing company You will be working towards your L3 Business Admin apprenticeship by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies, you will also be set aside time to complete your learning. The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

The business administrator is expected to deliver their responsibilities efficiently and with integrity – showing a positive attitude. The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. The business administrator is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.

Duties to include:

  • Answering and resolving telephone enquiries with a polite, friendly and professional manner
  • Updating / maintaining the client database and ensuring all records are up to date
  • Booking in Routine Maintenances and scheduling works and appointments
  • General Administrative Duties; including emails, diary, invoicing, printing and scanning
  • Creating customer quotes and preparing paperwork
  • Data input and data extraction from our systems
  • To support the office manager to maintain accurate, timely and legible records

Providing general administrative support to enable the smooth and effective running of the office and operations.

Desired qualifications

Four GCSE’s A*-C or 9-4 including maths and English (or equivalent)

Future prospects

Happy to work in an office environment and working from home on occasion as required.

Appointment of this apprenticeship will be subject to security screening, police screening & DBS checks due to the nature of the role.
