Customer Service and Business Administration Apprentice (Customer Only)Location: Wellington Street, Leeds15 months Apprenticeship (with career progression opportunities available), Full Time (37.5 hpw)Pay from £6.83 to £9.50 per hour depending on your age (plus you’ll achieve an accredited professional qualification - which we pay for and give you time to study towards – how awesome!)Shaping our future with Brilliant Apprentices! We’re passionate about providing brilliant customer service and will support you all the way.So, what do we do I hear you ask? Well, we make sure that purchase orders (goods or services that we buy) are raised efficiently. This ensures that the goods or services are delivered to our customers and the suppliers receive prompt payment. As a team, we also pay bills such as utilities, service charges and council tax.You’ll be working alongside Ali, who is our brilliant Business Support Team Manager. Ali has worked for Homegroup for 12 years and really does put the team first; wellbeing and celebrating birthdays and special occasions is always something she recognises.The Leeds Office is one of our busier offices and you will be play a big part in helping the team and colleagues within the office. From supporting with the post, meeting and greeting our visitors and ensuring the office is warm and welcoming place to be. Your role will be fast paced but we’ll support you every step of the way.Like most jobs it can be a challenging at times, but it’s ever so rewarding to work in our fun, vibrant and supportive team. We’re sure your valuable skills and experience will ensure we continue to deliver a high-quality service to the business.Your academic learning will be delivered by one of our specialist apprenticeship providers and you will receive support from an experienced tutor as well as from within your own team. We’d also like you to have good IT skills but hey, this is an apprenticeship, so we’ll teach you all you need to know.You’re going to really impress us if you’re proactive, motivated and a real self-starter.Our TeamYou’ll work alongside our marvellous team who are dedicated to providing brilliant customer service. Our manager is Nichole who is currently on secondment having worked extensively as an administrator for the organisation for the past 7 years.There are 7 of us in the team. Jo our social butterfly has been with Home Group for a golden 25 years and enjoys spending time with family and great work colleagues. Terri joined Home Group in 2015 as an apprentice and upon completion of her NVQ was successful in securing a permanent position as an administrator. Terri loves to spend time with her family.Jess joined the team in early 2019 and enjoys watching sports and spending time with friends and family. Karen joined the team in late 2019 as an apprentice and upon completion of her NVQ was also successful in securing a permanent position as an administrator, in her spare time Karen enjoys socialising with friends and taking care of her granddaughter.Charley joined the team early 2021 and enjoys spending time with her dogs and attending gigs. Jemma joined the team mid-2021 and also enjoys attending gigs. Nigel is our newest addition having joined team late 2021 and brings his excellent excel skills to the team.
