A private Approved Inspector operating across England and Wales seeks a Building Control Surveyor to join either their Nottingham or Derby office on a permanent basis. They offer cross -sector projects and a strong reputation among consumers. Competitive salary and bonus structure, 30 days’ annual leave, car and fuel allowance.

Building Control Surveyor Responsibilities

Perform plan checking and site inspections on a variety of developments to check for compliance with regulations and associated legislation

Ongoing liaison with Surveyors and senior management, along with Clients, Builders and Developers on technical matters to ensure that standards are being maintained and procedures adhered to

Completing reports and documentation based on site findings

Requirements

Effectively self-managing workload by forward-planning, in order to provide a responsive, helpful and professional service and utilise time spent on siteBuilding Control Surveyor Requirements

Member / working towards CABE / RICS / CIOB membership

Up-to-date knowledge of Building regulations requirements

Existing Building Control Surveyor experience, ideally including within an office environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain repeat business

Full UK Driving LicenceBenefits
