An established Material Handling company are expanding further and they now have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the friendly team. They provide excellent training and support and work with innovative and interesting equipment. They are highly competitive in terms of salary and benefits. Van/Overtime/Pension/Bonuses/23 Hols/Healthcare/laptop/mobile/training. Candidates will be able to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard. They currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so any previous electrical knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential Responsibilities Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager. Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, ’can-do’ attitude. Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system. Reporting to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: Experienced in plant, trucks, or vehicles NVQ Level 2 in Plant, Maintenance or Vehicle Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven. Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions. Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure. Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite. Good team player.
