What’s in a day?

We’re looking for a big personality + beer lover to join the Stewart Brewing Team as a Brewery Tour Guide to help us spread the word of Stewart Brewing. This role is responsible for providing visitors, sales teams, distributors, and other industry professionals a fun and in-depth tour of Stewart Brewing and tasting of our beers.

What things can I expect to be involved in?

Working with our Taproom team you will be the face of our brewery tour experience providing expert knowledge of the Brewery, products, and brand history.

You will host brewery tours for both the trade and public creating + maintaining a superb customer service environment whilst upholding the highest standards of customer service outlined by our Taproom + Tour Manager.

There is the possibility the person filling this role may be asked to assist with hosting of internal + external events, offered the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador on & off-site including trade events.

What sort of hours will I work?

Brewery Tours are every Friday evening with the potential for additional shifts on other days for privately booked tours. (Friday Shift: 17:30 – 21:30)

And the worst?

You will be on your feet almost all the time, finding the right way to engage with visitors is pivotal to success in this role.

What skills do I need?

You will have a passion for beer and maybe even our brand. We love beer and so do our customers., We think that previous experience with a beer or beverage serving environment is a must but are happy to be proved wrong.

But you do need to be comfortable and confident (and possible experienced with public speaking) acting, stand-up, performing or hosting events ideally with a beer background.

Who would it suit?

Fun, confident, and enthusiastic personality who takes real pride in achieving exceptional customer service and providing an informative but entertaining experience for all involved.

Someone who can communicate effectively and freely with all levels of internal & external customers.

Most importantly you need to be adaptable, quick witted, reliable and punctual and committed to constantly evolving their knowledge our brand and beers while being able to reflect and learn from tour experiences.

What sort of salary can I expect?

As Stewart Brewing is a Real Living Wage Employer, you will receive a good rate of pay alongside some of the other perks of working for a Brewery.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 4 per week

Salary: £10.90 per hour
