Were looking for a highly accomplished individual both academically and in the job, with a proven track record in all things Brand and Marketing to join us as a Brand Marketing Manager.

In this unique, self propelled role, youll need to be an experienced innovator by nature who thrives in challenging situations and can work horizontally with all of our departments.

Youll help build Double Eleven into a world leading brand. Support our rapid growth and ambitious plans by inspiring others to create great work for our brand internally as well as via third parties. Finally, youll own marketing activities to help grow our talent pipeline, attract more partners and increase both our employer brand and brand awareness in the wider industry.

Were a new breed of games company and have developed a strong reputation for technical skill; most recently we helped bring Minecraft Dungeons and Rust: Console Edition to millions of players around the world.

Initially youll work remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic and when our team returns to the studio, youll set up camp at our HQ in Middlesbrough, UK. Currently Double Eleven is working effectively remotely and we continue to assess the Covid-19 situation, with the safety of our staff as our top priority. Part remote working available.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

  • Own and build our highly desirable company and employer brand both externally and internally
  • Develop strategies and manage marketing and advertising campaigns for a crowded market place across various online platforms and print to ensure that our company projects both our brand and employer brand with high credibility and our values in both the UK and Malaysia
  • Act as an ambassador and be responsible, ensuring our brand and our identity are felt throughout the organisation, and externally
  • Take responsibility for keeping our branding consistent, recognisable and up-to-date across all channels and campaigns
  • Author compelling original content across blogs, presentations, interviews and emails and live online forums
  • You must be able to hone in on exactly what our company stands for and tell its story in a genuine and relevant way
  • Work with the Community Manager to develop and execute a social media campaign in line with our corporate brand strategy
  • Work with PR partners domestically and internationally to design and implement marketing campaigns
  • Influence, present and communicate with a wide range of people at industry and recruitment events
  • Work with the Publishing Operations Manager to ensure brand consistency across both corporate and game-specific PR activities, coordinating where it makes sense to
  • Work with the Recruitment Manager to drive and share the employee experience, increasing engagement and using our culture as a pull factor for growing our team
  • Plan and organise internal events and social calendar that build our brand and identity internally (team building events, in-office events, Gamejams, sport & club events, launch events, lunch n learns, summer and winter parties); as well as create and maintain a toolkit for staff to organise their own clubs and events
  • Plan and organise swag, merchandise for our games and company to give to our team and partners
  • Monitor competitor campaigns
  • Create and own brand guidelines
  • Carry out regular brand audits, reporting back to the key stakeholders and board
  • Support the games publishing team as needed

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Youve previously built brands for a national or international company
  • Demonstrated experience owning a brand long term but also working tactically day to day
  • Experience working in marketing planning and delivering campaigns
  • Experience working with PR partners and external agencies to build and manage campaigns
  • Familiarity and experience with planning and executing paid advertising campaigns
  • Well versed in digital technologies
  • Clear communicator with excellent storytelling, presentation and writing skills used for content marketing
  • Meticulous attention to detail

WHAT WE DO

We are a full-service publisher and developer, with our head office located in Middlesbrough and a second office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We have recently brought Minecraft Dungeons along with DLC (Switch, PS4 & Xbox One) to players around the world in partnership with Mojang and Microsoft. We also published and developed Rust for console in 2021 and we’re working on a number of exciting unannounced titles for next generation consoles.
