Bookkeeper

Full-time. Permanent.

We are searching for an experienced, conscientious and outgoing Bookkeeper in our rapidly growing coastal property management office.

Ideally, you would be;

Suitably experienced in accountancy

Organised, reliable and capable of handling a range of accountancy functions

Experienced using computer software, such as Microsoft Office,

Be a team player with good communication skills,

Work well under pressure and manage your workload with minimum supervision,

Diligently manage financial transactions, including daily receipts and payments,

Deal with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner,

Maintain confidentiality and discretion as befits an accountancy role,

Free from any adverse credit history, past or current legal proceedings, etc, that may prevent or disqualify you from managing the company’s bank accounts,

Previous experience working within the Property Management sector would be advantageous, but by no means essential.

This is a varied role, that will consist of - but not limited to - the following typical activities:

  • Handling receipts and payments
  • Issuing invoices, statements and remittances
  • Recording financial transactions
  • Ledger management and reconciling bank accounts
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Dealing with client, contractor and supplier queries via phone or email
  • Monitoring and chasing-up rent arrears and debts when necessary
  • Providing office administrative and clerical support as needed
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management

  • Hours of work: Mon - Fri: 9am - 5pm
