What will you be doing?

The Bid Development Manager contributes to Veolia’s drive for a substantial share of the UK market for Treatment contracts, preparing proposals and tender documents and managing the preparation of the bid submission.

You will support existing contracts by managing the renewal process and by identifying opportunities for beneficial change based on best practice at other locations; supporting the delivery/ project management of implementation.

Having ownership of the procurement/project process from inception to delivery, including the operational, commercial, legal and financial aspects of a bid/project, you will lead on due diligence throughout the process, including prior to the qualification process; the dialogue process and discussions with clients.

What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience of tendering for large procurements within environmental services/waste industry, including commercial negotiation and project management
  • Knowledge of resource management and logistics, as well as procurement law would also be desirable.
