Are you an experienced teaching assistant with experience working with children with SEMH?Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced TA’st to work in Keighley who have experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The educator will be required to provide 1:1 support for individuals struggling in an education setting. There are both opportunities for short-term and long-term positions available in both primary and secondary provisions.The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable and enthusiastic about the change they can make to students with SEMH requirements. You will have experience working with a range of student ages from 5 to 19 with a range of SEN requirements, including Autism and BPD. Finally, your passion for education and the difference educators can make every day will shine!The Successful Candidate Will
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide require and additional support to pupils
  • Provide intervention support to pupil, including behavioural issues and a range of SEN needs.
  • Provide 1:1 support for SEMH.
Essential Skills And Experience
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have spent six months or more in the country
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one if applicable
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Previous experience working with SEND children
