A bit about Livability North East

Livability North East, Gateshead, provides supported living services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

In Gateshead we support a lovely man in his 40s who has a learning disability, he has a particular interest in music and DJs. This man has 24/7 1:1 support with sleep-in nights. He requires support with managing his finances, budgeting, meal planning, preparation and food shopping. He also needs support with medication and managing his home. He also likes to socialise and especially likes to attend music events, when accessing some social events, the gentleman is supported 2:1.

We are looking for experienced staff, with experience of implementing positive support boundaries and managing changing support needs. Experience of working with people with a learning disability and achieving positive social and community access outcomes would also be beneficial.
