An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Direct Diagnostic Spirometry (DDS) services accorss Birmingham.The post holder may also work across other ares of the BCHC respiratory service areas e e.g. Admission Avoidance and Assisted Discharge, Respiratory Clinic, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and any others as defined within the Community Respiratory Service SpecificationSee JD and PS for full details
  • To deputise for the Service Manager when appropriate or as required.
  • To take an active role with quality transformation and redesign of the service, creating new clinics and leading on agreed service initiatives and activities.
  • To provide an effective and efficient service to adults with a range of respiratory conditions.
  • To manage a highly specialist adult caseload in a variety of clinic settings which will include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning therapy programmes and discharge of patients.
  • To develop and continually review and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
