We are looking for highly motivated staff member to join an experienced team here at Juniper Ward in Weston Super Mare. We are an 18 bed mixed sex unit offering care to service users with a serious mental illness who are in crisis. We are also proud of our service user involvement in the development of our services.

The role of the Arts Psychotherapist is to offer opportunities to engage in arts based therapeutic experiences, both individual and group based, facilitating an assessment of patients’ potential to engage with therapeutic approaches to their symptoms and situations.

Inpatient Services are supported by extensive Community provision including a Locality Art Psychotherapy Service, led by a Head Art Psychotherapist, which sits within a Locality Psychological Therapies Service.

You would be joining a strong multidisciplinary service that values Art Psychotherapy, and a Locality wide Psychological Therapies Team working to deliver dynamic treatment approaches specific to each setting, and informed by NICE guidelines.
