Band 6 Trainee Psychological Therapist or Band 7 Psychological Therapist (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)We have three exciting vacancies that have arisen for Band 6 Trainee Psychological Therapists or Band 7 Psychological Therapists within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Services. These posts are suitable for individuals who are already enrolled on a postgraduate diploma CBT training course or those who have completed their qualification. Candidates who are in training would be appointed at a Band 6 until the successful completion of their qualification (fixed term contract - 2 years).We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified psychological practitioners with an existing core profession for a full-time post. The post-holders will be part of multi-professional teams supporting the Transformation of our Community Services in BSMHFT as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.There are three posts available: one full time post in Solihull Community Mental Health Teams (Lyndon and Newington CMHTs), one full time post located at Northcroft CMHTs (Erdington, Kingstanding and Sutton Coldfield) and one full time post split between Northcroft CMHTs and Orsbourn House CMHTs. We would welcome applications from those looking to build upon their clinical skills with a wide range of presenting difficulties to make a difference in the community.We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and skilled clinicians who can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, to provide a range of clinical services. The individual will have excellent opportunities to gain experience of multilevel and integrated service provision and to further develop skills of complex case assessment, formulation and the application of evidence based psychological interventions, both individual and in groups.
