An interesting temporary opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Support time recovery workers to join our Community Mental Health teams across Birmingham and Solihull for a Maximum period of 12 MonthsOur Service provides a recovery based 6 week programme of group and individual interventions to support Service Users to develop skills to manage their own mental HealthWe work closely with Home Treatment, Liaison Psychiatry and Primary Care HubsWe are looking for people with experience in running solution focussed groups, offering psychological wellbeing and discharge planning as this role will focus on supporting Service users to understand and manage their mental health as well prepare patients transition from our service to primary careYou will need to be skilled at working with groups and individuals within a clinical settingYou will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be working with a wide range of internal and external partners and Service UsersYou will be required to provide accurate written records and to feedback in a variety of settingsPlanning and implementing discharge plansAssisting Service Users to access third party and community programmesProviding group and individual interventions (hearing voices etcetera)Liaising with internal and external partnersRecording and reporting on observations and interventionssupervising band 3 staffWelcome to Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
