Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a Back Office System Analyst (6 Month Contract) to join a global FMCG organisation! With the Head Office based in North Somerset, Near Cheddar! The role will be to work REMOTELY from home with a couple of afternoons based from the office in Cheddar! This role will start as a ’6 Month Contract’ and then be reviewed for another 6 Months!
The working hours are flexible to suit you but need a later start time, an example - 12.00pm - 8.00pm Monday-Friday (35 hours per week). The annual salary is £28,000 - £36,000 PA. The package includes 21 Days Annual Leave, Company Pension, Onsite Parking, Remote Working, Wellness Scheme & Flexible Working.
You will manage stock, place the orders, take the title of the goods - the business is responsible for all the financials, therefore it’s key to have a good eye for any errors that may occur, or something doesn’t stack up correct or bring it to someone’s attention. Accounts payable experience would be beneficial but not essential!

Key Responsibilities
  • Our client is launching an exciting new project and seeking this Back Office System Analyst to support them. The project is an incentive aimed at supporting and accelerating growth, currently being designed in Canada that sees a significant change in the Retail and Sales and Ops areas of the business.
  • To support this initiative in Canada, there are plans to introduce an inventory management back-office system into 32 pilot sites in Ontario. The back-office system will be centrally managed and will be overseen by the representative for the project.
  • This role aims to support that representative and the broader members of the project by administering and analysing the functionality, data, and inventory management of that system.
  • Whilst the role is UK based, it is supporting a North American contract; therefore, the hours will need to cross over with half of the Canadian working day to attend calls with the local team. The working hours can be flexible, but a rough idea would start at 12:00 until 20:00 UK time. It would be predominantly home-based, with one or two afternoons in the Cheddar office each week.
Experience, Attributes & Skills Sought
  • Setting up or using a price book system for till based transactions.
  • Direct experience of a retail back-office inventory system.
  • Inventory management tools would be highly advantageous.
  • Stock control/management.
  • Data analysis.
  • Effective time planning & ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and resilient ways of working.
  • Excellent IT skills (especially Microsoft Office - Word and PowerPoint - Advanced abilities in Excel is essential).
  • High demonstratable ability to analyse and interrogate data.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Accountancy qualification such as AAT may be useful.
