Job title: Legal & Risk Assistant, UK & Europe

Base location: Hook

Salary:Up to £30,000

As a global FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries, we rely on the support of our talented and diverse Legal team to keep the business running smoothly and legally compliant. As our Legal & Risk assistant, you will provide organisational and administrative leadership support to the UK&E Legal team and UK&E Risk team. This is a new role which is necessary to provide organisational and administrative leadership and support to the Legal & ERM teams.

Your key purpose will be to assist with the effective management of Legal & Risk matters, projects and related activities and correspondence.

What you’ll need to do the role

Firstly, you’ll need excellent communication skills to build strong relationships within the team and beyond. You’ll need Strong organisational and time management skills and a positive approach to problem solving with the capacity to work independently to discharge tasks with initiative, responsibility, and discretion. Knowledge of Legal, Risk & Assurance processes an advantage but not essential. Strong in MS Office and computer skills, including using digital workflows is essential. Lastly, you’ll be passionate about continuous improvement to identify more efficient methods of working rather than settling for status quo.
