Job Description

As an Automotive Diagnostic Engineer,you will be one of our quality consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The role will eventually be on a hybrid basis but for the first months of the project, consultants would need to be on site 5 days a week. As a Diagnostic Engineer, you will be diagnosing fault codes on Electric Vehicles.You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Automotive industry.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyse, interpret, and diagnose fault codes on electric vehicles
  • Using CAN tools to analyse fault snapshots and recommend solutions
  • Hands on testing on vehicle level
  • Cascading electric battery and high voltage test requirements to the team
  • Stay informed about advancements in automotive technologies and industry best practices

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Strong passion for automotivetechnologies and a desire to contribute to the development of advanced automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with vector CAN tools –CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape,
  • Domain Experience - Automotive Electric battery and High Voltage components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
