Your new role:

As a Systems engineeryou will be one of our quality consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Aerospace industry.

As aSystems engineeryour main responsibilities will be supporting product development across all stages of the NPI process, this includes:

  • Managing requirements capture and definition using various tools e.g. IBM DOORS
  • Defining V&V strategy for products and systems, including demonstration/test procedures
  • Delivering functional and performance analysis using standard tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Systems engineer and a consultant.

Experience required:

  • Strong understanding in the implementation of the V-model of Systems Engineering
  • Previous industrial experience in: Hydro-mechanical systems, component & system validation, control logic design or avionics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with MBSE and/or Modelling & Simulation is desired but not mandatory

Qualifications required:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering disciple with demonstrable experience.
