iO Associates have partnered with a Special Purpose Machinery Manufacturer based near Warrington who are looking for an Automation Engineer to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join a global company and develop your career further.

As the Automation Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional engineering team to assist in the implementation of automation software throughout the entire project lifecycle. This will include developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA Software. You will be responsible for Project and Technical documentation such as Software Design Specifications, FAT Test Schedules and Systems Architecture and I/O Schedules.

You Will Need

  • Track record of programming with PLCs such as Siemens and Rockwell
  • Engineering degree/higher technical qualification
  • Experience working with SCADA systems connected to different PLCs
  • Knowledge of IO link networks, Profibus and Profibus

In return for this, you will receive a salary of £50,000-60,000 (DOE) alongside other benefits, such as 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension contributions and more.
