Working closely with all divisions at Center Parcs, the Head Office Finance team oversee all financial operations at Head Office and our villages. We are now looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our Head Office Finance team.
- Head Office - Ollerton
- Full-Time, £44,000 per annum, plus 11% management bonus scheme
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring a first-class control environment across the whole of Center Parcs.
You will head up the Internal Audit function ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (predominately Sarbanes Oxley – SOX) and provide recommendations on internal control.
Other responsibilities will include:
- planning, leading and delivering the annual audit programme
- providing input into change management projects, ensuring that an appropriate level of control remains in place at all times
- overseeing trending analysis from review of data through to presentation of investigation results
- managing the Enterprise Risk Management reporting
- driving initiatives to enhance performance
You will have extensive knowledge of key internal controls and have experience of a control environment, including Sarbanes Oxley. With a proven track record of successfully managing a team, you will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals across the business, at all levels.
A full driving licence will be required. This role will require you to visit all our village locations and will involve overnight stays. Whilst we are happy for the successful candidate to work remotely, this role will be required to make regular visits to work from our Head Office in Nottinghamshire.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal Head Office working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however occasional flexibility may be required.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of key internal controls
- Strong technical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills together with an analytical mindset
- Extensive post qualification audit experience gained within a large corporate environment
- Experience of a control environment including Sarbanes Oxley
- A proven track record of successfully managing a team
- The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally, at all levels
- Full driving licence
Desirable requirements:
- Graduate and qualified accountant (preferably ACA or equivalent)
