Specsavers in Weymouth first opened its doors as an optical business 25 years ago and added audiology in 2017. The store sits in a prominent position on the main high street and is firmly embedded within the local community. The loyal and growing customer base includes members of the large local retirement community along with the many tourists who visit this charming seaside town.The store has a dedicated Audiology room along with a second room used for triage and admin. Specsavers Weymouth is an Audiology Hub and provides services to its 2 spoke stores of Boscombe and Talbot Heath (Sainsbury’s). The Audiology business In Weymouth is an established and extremely profitable business which is consistently one of the top performers in the Division, providing a genuine opportunity to build on your investment for the future whilst providing unrivalled Hearcare to the community.Working alongside the Optical team, you will receive support from the existing 2 HAD’s along with a Trainee Audiologist. The existing Partners take pride in the clinical development of the store colleagues and have created a truly multi category team who are as passionate about Optics as they are about Audiology. As the new Audiology Partner you would have the scope to build on this great work by advising on training requirements, introducing new specialisms and shaping the team further as required.Store locationThe store is located in the beautiful coastal town of Weymouth, known for its rich culture and history – perfect for people looking to escape to the country. Based in the heart of Dorset, Weymouth is just 7 miles from Dorchester and 30 miles from Bournemouth, meaning you are never far away from award winning beaches!Requirements Of The RoleAlongside being a qualified and HCPC registered Audiologist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Audiology Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence.
