About the store

Specsavers in Hastings first opened its doors as an optical business 20 years ago before adding audiology 6 years later. The store sits in a prominent position in the main shopping centre and is firmly embedded within the local community. Currently offering private audiology services, the loyal and growing customer base currently consists of private includes members of the large local retirement community, the many shoppers visiting the town centre and also residents of the many nearby rural affluent villages

The store boasts 6 Optical test rooms and 1 Audiology room, it Is an Audiology Hub meaning it also provides services in it spoke stores of Bexhill and Lewes.

A team of approximately 20 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. The existing Partner is really passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Audiology Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

Store location

The store is located in the seaside town of Hastings, made famous by the Battle of Hastings! There are a number of local beaches to enjoy and is also a major fishing port. It lies 53 miles south east of London and Brighton can be reached via one of the many direct trains in just over an hour.

Requirements of the role

Alongside being a qualified and HCPC registered Audiologist, the right person for this position will be confident, possess a strong worth ethic and a willingness to succeed. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You’ll be willing to go the extra mile for customers and someone who encourages their team to do the same. In summary, you’ll be a high calibre Audiology Partner able to put your stamp on this already excellent store and drive it to the next level.
