An opportunity has presented itself for a strong and determined individual to assume the role of the Asst Restaurant Manager at, The Best Western Park Hall Hotel PR7 5LP.

This 3-star hotel and leisure club, has a rosette restaurant of around 100 covers, event suites catering for up 850 guests, a Nightclub that hosts events throughout the year and 141 bedrooms, we are now looking for an experienced individual with the following skills to lead the team and continue its growth and development and to assist the restaurant manager.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Restaurant manager and Food & beverage manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all the restaurant operations. This role should be considered to be hands-on.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

· Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

· Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

· Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Skills

· Proven work experience as a supervisor or similar role

· Proven customer service experience as a manager/supervisor

· Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

· Strong leadership, motivation and people skills

28 days holiday/pro-rata
