About the Opportunity

An opportunity to join the Animal Sciences Group at Kymab! We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join the team to perform immunisations and sample collection for all studies.

About growing with us

In this role you will be

• Main responsibilities will include immunisation with novel vaccines, anitgens and sample collection.
• Accurate data entry using an in-house database and Excel files will be an essential part of your role to maintain records of procedural and other lab work.
• Work closely with team members to maintain welfare records.
• As part of an expanding team you will bring your technical skills into a fast moving working environment, providing essential data that helps drive projects forward.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need to have/be:

• Experience working as a Licensed Animal technician in a research environment.
• A Home Office Personal Licence, with modules 1-3.
• Experience of handling mice, performing techniques including intra-peritoneal, sub-cutaneous, intravenous injections would be highly desirable.
• Competent in animal handing, performing procedures.
