Applications are invited for this key role in the Patient Quality Team supporting in its ambition to develop the Allied Health Professional (AHP) workforce to enable the delivery of safe, effective and highly skilled practice.We would welcome applications from talented and passionate leaders who have experience in shaping, planning and delivering high quality, innovative patient and staff focused projects to support the delivery of safe and effective care. Experience in working across organisational boundaries and as part of Integrated Care Systems to ensure delivery of effective workforce strategies and development plans is essential.The post holder will have a key role in developing the AHP workforce to enable the delivery of safe, effective and highly skilled practice. Leading on workforce planning and development, the post holder will ensure that systems and processes are in place to enable the delivery of high quality and safe care to service users and the delivery of the over-arching Trust strategy.As part of the Patient Quality team, the post holder will lead the development of a broad range of trust-wide projects, plans and policies that support the AHP workforce planning and development across the Trust. The post holder, using specialist knowledge and expertise, will support the range of procedures and practices associated with strategic workforce planning and development, underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience. Subsequently, they will provide expert advice and support to senior leaders within the organisation in relation to issues of professional practice, safe staffing, workforce and practice development.The post holder will have a key role in working with other regional organisations as part of the Integrated Care System to lead workforce transformation and new ways of working. To commit to the collaborative growing of the workforce and the enablement of an adequate workforce supply.
