Summary

Assistant Team Manager - Support and Safeguarding

The Support and Safeguarding service work with some of our most vulnerable children in Wiltshire, including children in need, children in need of protection, children who are the subject of family proceedings and a proportion of our looked after children.

Families and children will receive a high quality, efficient and effective social work service which results in them being more resilient and will say that you made a positive difference to their lives.

About The Role Of Assistant Team Manager

As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be managing and supervising a number of qualified social workers and support workers, as delegated by your manager. You will be supporting your manager to direct, co-ordinate and provide leadership to all staff within your dedicated team.

The successful candidate will build upon and support the team manager in order to improve effective delivery of “Every Child Matters” outcomes for children and their families.

About You

An excellent problem solver and confident decision maker, you’ll bring with you considerable social work experience

You must be qualified to a DipSW level or equivalent and be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.

Interviews will take place on 22nd July 2021.
