If you have answered yes to the above questions, then a role with us could be perfect for you. Central Garage (Uppingham) Ltd (Budgens/BP) are seeking a capable Assistant Manager to help the team run the busy forecourt.

As a successful candidate you will work within our well-established team in Uppingham, providing assistance to the manager with the running of the BP petrol station and Budgens shop and to cover the manager’s job fully in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Stock
  • Complete invoices
  • Acting on price changes
  • Complete SEL checking and shop waste reports
  • Record daily shop sales
  • Help with the planning of the rota
  • Delegate jobs to staff and communicate between management and the other employees
  • Weekly stock checking
  • Offer change
  • Wet stock management
  • to cover the shop fully on the managers absence

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 16:00 pm (including Bank holidays) with occasional weekend work + manager and cashier shift covering (to be discussed during interview).
