To assist in the financial reporting to Munich Re (MR) Group and ensure that delivery is on time and to the desired quality level. Candidates will also be responsible for supporting the maintenance of an effective control environment with appropriate quality as well as completing financial reporting tasks for specifically allotted companies.

Working towards owning and being the subject matter expert in:

  • Group reporting deliveries to Munich Re, including actuals, forecast ,excel pack deliveries and additional note deliveries
  • Quarterly audit file production, including full coordination and ensuring that all schedules are chased for and escalated
  • Completing non-technical and technical intercompany reconciliations
  • Completing the IFRS 16 process every quarter for all companies in our group
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time to help the team improve and become more efficientand and provide transparent information as required
  • Producing relevant financial information for the management/external bodies as timetabled or to support ad-hoc requests
  • Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Preparing a review of each new coverholder and broker for review.

Processing

  • IFRS 16, intercompany and closing journals in our SAP system
  • Assisting in the management of the accounting and processing timetable

  • Ensuring that company procedures and systems are followed and maintained, as per procedures and compliance manuals
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.

Education and Professional Qualifications Required


Graduate (Maths, Finance or Accounting preferred)
