This post supports the School of Education’s work in the broad area of Education and Teacher Development. The role holder will make a significant contribution to one of the School’s research centres, actively seeking out external research funding and publishing high quality, impactful research. They will take on module leadership in relation to their particular expertise either in the School’s BA (Hons) Education, the large PGCE International programme, the MA Education (and its online variant) or other specialist Masters programmes (e.g. Special and Inclusive Education needs). The role holder will also work in other areas in the school, such as research student supervision.

Applicants must hold a research degree (e.g., MPhil, PhD or EdD) in a relevant area. They should also have experience of teaching, teacher education or school leadership, and a proven track record of research expertise in relevant areas.

This is a permanent, full-time post of 36.25 hours per week. Arrangements for job share would be considered. The role is available from February 2022.
