The Student Services Faculty Liaison Senior Administrator will be based in a Service Centre, Hub, Faculty or School, and will deliver a number of services focussed on improving the relationship between departments, Schools and the Faculty.

In this role you will be a key contact for your School, Department or Hub for all matters relating to student services. You will have the flexibility and customer focus to respond to the varying needs of service users and peaks in demand for student activities. You will also work closely with teams in the student services centres and provide cover as required, including cover for the University emergency call centre.

With a hands-on, positive approach you must demonstrate a real passion for customer service and continuous improvement. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders will be essential, as well as resilience to deal with problems and unexpected situations, offering the best solutions and recommendations to resolve them.

Teamwork, planning and organising skills are also essential to deliver the annual student cycle of activities and events, such as open days, student registration, examination periods and graduation.

We are committed to providing competitive employment packages whilst supporting the well-being of our staff to help them reach their full potential. We strive to provide a range of benefits and rewards, including leading fitness and health facilities, staff discounts with a wide range of retailers and leisure services, along with salary sacrifice schemes, generous annual leave entitlement and attractive pension offering.

To apply you must hold an A level qualification or equivalent and achieved GCSE (minimum grade C or level 4) in Mathematics and English or equivalent, as well as having experience of working in a busy customer focused administrative environment.

This is a permanent opportunity offered on a full-time basis, though applications for part time hours (minimum 29 per week) and job share arrangements will be considered.

Interviews will be held early August 2021.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Jilly Court, email jilly.court@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
