Our Marketing Conversion team is a centre of excellence for conversion journey marketing activity across Paid, Earned and Owned channels. We have a new opportunity within the Acquisition Conversion team, with a focus on trigger-based customer marketing. Working with the Marketing Manager, you’ll support our customer marketing activity to the existing franchise base, in the email channel for 4 of our brands – Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and MBNA.

You’ll work in conjunction with a number of teams in addition to the Online Car Finance and Loans businesses and external agencies in order to implement plans effectively and deliver best in class conversion marketing across all of our brands.

In essence you’ll be:

  • Working with the Conversion Marketing Manager to develop and deliver customer communications to achieve agreed targets, on time, within budget, and with appropriate risk approvals.

  • Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activity and ensure that all activity is tracked and demonstrates ROI.

  • Delivering communications to customers that aligns to the different identities of our 4 brands.

  • Supporting the delivery of structured email test plans to consistently improve performance and ensure customers receive the right message, at the right time, and in the right place.

  • Liaising with all stakeholders (including the Online Car Finance and Loans businesses, FP/Risk) and our suppliers collaboratively, to ensure effective campaign delivery.

You’ll be a key part of an enabling performance culture - “Think customer”. “Try it, do it” and will have the opportunity to inform the development of new conversion capabilities as they come on board. We’ll give you an energising environment where you can work at pace and contribute to making the best prioritisation calls, gleaned from the data insights we can provide.


About you:

We’ll give you the tools and support to deliver extraordinary marketing activity, while building on the skills and experience you’ll already have:

  • Experience in campaign delivery with acute attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of email is important.

  • Experience of working to performance targets and metrics, and monitoring ongoing campaign effectiveness is also desirable.

  • Proven experience of working closely with creative / media agencies to best deliver against campaign objectives.

  • Knowledge and experience of multi-channel campaigns.

  • Track record of managing successful collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared objectives.
