The vast majority of consumer journeys start online – they like to browse, research and compare products, even if they intend to buy in-store. The way consumers shop is reshaping the marketplace. As a result, many of our wholesale accounts (partners) are going through their own digital transformations. They are investing in how they reach the consumer online, whilst a new breed of accounts in the form of pure players and eMarketplaces have emerged in our digital ecosystem with new business models to service and sell to our consumers. At adidas Golf, we are redefining our digital presence in a way that will push the future of digital and create premium experiences across all our consumer touchpoints to drive brand desirability, engagement and sales for our brands.


DPC Team Purpose


The DPC (Digital Partner Commerce) team is accelerating digital sales growth with selected strategic partners by providing the leadership, expertise and capabilities for “how to win” online to compliment the activities of the Market. Ensuring our Wholesale partners receive unmatched support and enabling them to serve consumers in the best way possible, the DPC team is driving this evolution in digital wholesale and through new business models across our worldwide organization.


The Assistant Manager will support the DPC team in an effort to achieve commercial targets while ensuring unique content provision, brand representation, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities (Functional):

  • Complete ownership of content planning, capture and implementation. Linking all digital touchpoints whilst also considering retail and PR opportunities where possible
  • Work collaboratively with Design and agency teams to maximise content deliverables across the full year marketing plan
  • In partnership with the Head of Marketing build agile and responsive content marketing plans that maximise storytelling opportunities and forge a new path that supports the strategy of being the most progressive brand in golf.
  • Work ‘day-to-day’ with the European DPC manager impacting strategic thinking and management of UK online retail locations. Ensuring full adherence with online DTP.
  • Utilise digital marketing skills to help aid online partners through optimisation of their online platforms with the consumer journey and experience at the forefront.
  • Actively source, manage and audit the execution of adidas images and digital content with Digital Partners.
  • Inform, recommend and update the execution of adidas product content to ensure SEO best practices are met.
  • Log content cases for all content related challenges (names, categories, variation, HLD, RID, images).
  • Set up and maintain system for documents and records, ensuring accurate and logical organization of files; control confidentiality of files as appropriate.
  • Prepare and update routine reports and documents to highlight business trends and refer problems to managers for resolution.
  • Attend and support Key Account Managers/Sales Directors for customer business review meetings

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (MS Access preferred).
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent customer services skills and professional telephone and email etiquette.
  • Comfort around, and ability to communicate with, all levels of management.
  • Ability to analyze sales or market data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prioritization and independent decision-making skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in digital marketing (or similar) preferred
  • 0-2 years related experience.
  • Athletic industry specific experience is preferred
  • Understanding of ecomm marketplace/trends, SEO strategy, traffic driving tactics, and Big Data manipulation.
