Assistant Management Accountant – Coalville– £27,000 - £30,000
Chase& Holland are working with an industry leading company in the FMCG sector who are keen to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant due to continued growth. As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely onsite with the Finance Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist with the production of management accounts and take on more responsibility when possible. The client we are recruiting for operates multiple sites across the UK and this role will allow the company to continue to succeed and strive for increased profitability. There will also be the prospect of study support to further existing knowledge.

Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assisting with financial reports as required
• Supporting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Processing and producing journals
• Support Group reporting inline with the company requirements
• Oversee bank reconciliations
• Preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet
• Provide reporting and analysis for management team to allow for increased profitability onsite
• Weekly cash flow forecasting

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience within Manufacturing sector (desirable)
• Completed or working towards AAT qualifications with relevant experience
• Ability to work proactively
• Good communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience of working with Sage will be beneficial
