The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To DemonstrateThe Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Assistant Headteacher to work within our primary school.
- the skills of an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of children’s behaviour and achievement
- an excellent understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and ALN reform excellent leadership skills through a variety of roles and responsibilities
- an excellent school where the motto is “aiming high”
- a wide range of exciting school initiatives and opportunities for development
- an opportunity to work in partnership with a motivated and conscientious team of teachers and teaching assistants who fully embrace and enthusiastically support the Curriculum for Wales and ALN reform
- supportive governors and parents motivated, articulate, confident pupils who are independent in their learning
The school has 500 children on roll, including 80 part-time children in the Nursery.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
