An exciting opportunity exists for dynamic and enthusiastic individual, who will coordinate, manage and implement all aspects of operational estates by providing direction and professional and technical leadership across clinical and non clinical services within the North Sector, including Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

You will be responsible for ensuring national and statutory requirements and for maintaining all aspects of statutory compliance at Sector level. The focus of the post is on consistent high quality service levels, improved value for money, expenditure management and governance of compliance management, providing clear leadership, mentoring, direction and innovation are essential to the post.

You must have an accredited bachelors degree at honours level, preferably with appropriate further learning to Masters level, along with being a Chartered professional in an Engineering or Construction related discipline.

You must be able to demonstrate a record of achievement at an Estates Operations Management level ability to meet strategic organisational objectives, within large scale complex environments, preferably Healthcare.

You should be an experienced line manager who can demonstrate achievements in motivating their teams, creating and maintaining a culture of high performance and operating to best in class standards through effective people management.

Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this role.

The shift pattern is; Monday to Friday but in line with seniority of the post, you will be expected to work as required to meet the needs of the service
