An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a £2M turnover business who has a newly created position to join their small team as an Assistant Accountant.Our Salisbury, Wiltshire financial services client has engaged with CMA Recruitment Group in order to select candidates with general bookkeeping and payroll experience, this is a permanent opportunity offering hybrid and remote working.Offering an excellent salary range of £25,000 to £32,000 with an excellent benefits package.What will the role involve?
  • Working closely with the Financial Director and having responsibilities for a varied range of accounting duties;
  • Payroll and pensions query resolution and being a ’go-to’ person to answer any payroll related questions;
  • General accounting including, purchase and sales ledger and complex reconciliations;
  • Being part of a close-knit and organised team and liaising at all levels within this business.
Suitable Candidate
  • Will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of payroll and pensions including all up to date legislation;
  • An AAT or payroll qualification or be working towards a similar qualification;
  • Transactional accounts ability in sales ledger, purchase ledger and reconciliations;
  • Happy to work either in the office or in a hybrid style.
