Salary –up to £36,275 (depending on experience)
Location –Pity Me, Durham
We are looking for an Asset Data Engineer to join the Asset Information Management team. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you maintain the company’s under and above ground data which is held in our corporate asset system.
The role includes carrying out updates and amendment requests received from the business relating to GIS and CAD. This also includes ensuring amendments and plotting requests are administered promptly, effectively, and accurately as well as maintaining all relevant documentation to support this.
You will also ensure that the data is well-maintained, and all documentation is monitored. The role includes supporting with training.
You’ll establish effective working relationships with users and support the process to update the toughpads used by the field users.
About you
You’ll have proven experience in the Water industry or a similar related industry as well as knowledge of operational activities (water and wastewater).
A natural communicator, you’ll have the ability to develop effective relationships with other areas of the business at all levels and confidently make decisions in accordance with established practices and procedures.
