Central Employment are currently working on behalf of a leading automotive Manufacturer based in Teal Farm NE38.

The company is a first tier supplier of interior trim and acoustics for the automotive industry and due to increasing levels of production they are looking to recruit for their team.

This position is 12 weeks temporary to permanent. Following a successful 12 week probation you will be offered a permanent contract.

The Role:
Running machinery and assisting with the overall production process.
Assembly products by hand using various methods and hand tools.
Quality inspection of components
Working within a fast paced production environment.
Overseeing machinery to ensure the process is running to a high standard.
Partaking in daily meetings with the supervisor to discuss production and quality issues
Maintaining high levels of health and safety at all times.
Report equipment faults to direct team leader
Ensure all standard Operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
Keep plant and site to a high level of housekeeping (5S) and support processes

The Candidate:
Able to work 39 hours per week.
Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment is desired but not essential.
The best attributes for this job are a good attitude to work and enthusiasm.
Confidence to learn and try new things, new responsibilities will become part of the position.

The Hours:
This position requires you to work a two-shift pattern Monday to Friday:
Day shift – 6:55am to 15:00pm
Back Shift – 16:45pm – 12:50am

Potential in the future it may go onto 3-shift system

The Pay:
£10.80 for 2 shifts

£11.38 for 3 shift.

Overtime is paid at £14.47 an hour
