Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Analyst
Job Type:Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Job Location:Middlesbrough

As an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst, you’ll receive a salary of between £23,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience, you will also be entitled to a company car.

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst you will be joining a team responsible for the delivery of Asbestos Services, including; Asbestos Surveys, Asbestos Analysis, Building Surveying, Health and Safety, Environmental Monitoring, Asbestos Monitoring, Asbestos Training and Asbestos Testing.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct assessments of asbestos removal works
  • Detection of asbestos debris
  • Ensure the sites complies with the requirements of a HSG 247 clearance test.
  • Interpret the scope of works and collate appropriate information to allow pricing of work

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need previous experience working within an Asbestos surveyor / Analyst role. In addition to this, to be successful in the role of Asbestos Surveyor Analyst you will need excellent knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and an excellent understanding of air monitoring, clearance testing and asbestos removal management.

In addition to the above you will also need to demonstrate the following:
  • P402, P403, P404, Certificates
  • Full current driving license for use in the UK
  • Understanding the risks associated with Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM).
  • In depth knowledge of asbestos containing materials and where they can be found in houses, buildings and other structures.
The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;

Experience in project management of asbestos surveying or air sampling work.
Experience in asbestos management and removal.
CoCA (Asbestos).
P401, RSPH (level 3) Certificates desirable.

Health & Safety Qualifications.
