Then look no further - We’re currently offering an opportunity for an Art Teacher to work for 4 days a week in a School in the LS6 for full-time basis who can also do some general cover.
The School is a respected educational institution with a strong commitment to academic excellence, spiritual development, and community involvement.
Requirements:
- The qualifications needed for this role (QTS)
- Experience working in a challenging secondary school
- Experience teaching art in a secondary school
- Will hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willing to apply for one
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students in their art studies.
- Promote progress and positive outcomes for students by providing effective instruction.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject and curriculum, fostering student’s artistic knowledge and skills.
- Plan and deliver well-structured art lessons that engage and accommodate the strengths and needs of all students.
- Utilise assessment effectively and productively to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
