Job Title: Art Teacher

Location: Salford

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £150 - £180 per day (dependant on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Art teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School Art teacher to join an Ofsted rated ’Good’ school in Salford. This is a temporary position starting ASAP up until at least Christmas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and preparing Art lessons up to KS4 level.

- Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Art department and the school.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education. Must specialise in Art.

- Alternatively, substantial and valuable experience teaching these subjects at Secondary School level.

- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.

- Exceptional behaviour management skills to create a positive and focused learning environment.

- Passion for inspiring the next generation of Scientists.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

- Effective classroom management skills.
