Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of assisting a Contemporary Architecture Practice with their search for an Architect / Architectural Technologist to be based in their Studio near the New Forest. Our client is looking to expand due to the consistent high level of workload and a very strong looking year. Being specialists within the Leisure, Commercial, Education and Masterplanning sectors, their next recruit will enjoy an environment of challenge and variety.The ideal candidate for our client will have minimum of 1 years’ experience with an Architecture Practice post Part III Qualification or relevant degree. Day to day you will be working alongside ambitious and dedicated designers in a progressive and motivating office environment. Our client has a strong support system to help you develop in your career, therefore making this a fantastic opportunity for an Architect or Technician / Technologist with the foundations of software capabilities and early RIBA stages to progress further.Architect / Architectural TechnologistPosition Overview- Work on a variety of projects within the Leisure, Commercial, Education and Masterplan sectors
- Opportunity to work through a range of RIBA stages
- Meet with professionals / clients to agree a project brief
- Use Vectorworks, InDesign and Photoshop on a daily basis
- Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client that exceed the project brief
- Maintain and form good relationships with colleagues and clients
- Site visits
- Living in or around the Bournemouth / Southampton area
- Proficiency of ideally Vectorworks however AutoCAD could be considered
- Multisector background (Ideally)
- Minimum 1 years’ experience Post Part III
- Strong design, presentational and report writing skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good knowledge of building regulations and the planning application process
- Competitive Salary (£28,000 - £40,000 DOE)
