Are you someone who thrives on connecting with others, loves to learn and seizes every opportunity? If the answer is yes, then you’ll want to jump at the chance of joining our well established Connecting Our Future programme.

It’s no ordinary apprenticeship; it’s designed for people who want a career within Financial Services but have little to no experience in this sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

The 2-year programme is comprised of a mixture of both 4-month and 6-month placements. You’ll spend the first-year learning about our business, the products and services that we offer and about our customers. Whether that be in one of our Branches, in our Customer Contact Centre, within a Financial Advice team or in our Administration department. You’ll gain an understanding of how our customers communicate with us, how we operate and an introduction to the ever-changing world of Finance.

The second year is all about you!

What do you want to get out of the programme? Do you already know where your passion lies or are you curious to learn and experience more to help you decide?

We’ll work with the business needs, to match your skills and aspirations to placements that you’ll gain the most from. You’ll be able to choose from areas such as; Digital, HR, Marketing, Finance, IT, Risk and Operations, with the aim of showing you how our teams connect with each other to deliver outstanding customer and colleague experiences and, ultimately, help you to discover your career pathway.

Throughout the duration of the programme you’ll be exposed to a range of opportunities like supporting ongoing projects, events or charity activities to promote your learning and development, all while completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

What You’ll Bring

We’re asking for a lot, but we’re offering just as much, so whilst experience isn’t important, your outlook definitely is.

We’re looking for individuals who are willing to push and challenge themselves in order to grow and develop. You’ll need to be resilient and flexible, as requirements will change dependent on the colleagues you’re working with and the team you’re in, whether that be from Head Office, a branch or even at home.

We welcome people who will squeeze every drop out of their apprenticeship but most of all, work hard and enjoy it.

Qualifications
To be eligible must not hold a qualification in the same field at the same or higher level to Level 3 Business Administration.
