As part of the Learning and Organisational Development Team, the Apprenticeship and Early Career Manager will lead on delivery of the apprenticeship strategy for the organisation. They will also be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing work experience in the organisation.The Apprenticeship and Early Career Manager will need to work with other members of the Learning and Organisational Development Team, the wider People Directorate, the Clinical Education and Development Team and operational services to deliver the priorities for this role.We are looking for an imaginative and creative individual who understands organisational and workforce challenges. They will have experience of working in a complex organisation and of working collaboratively with a range of teams and colleagues. In addition, we are looking for an individual who has the drive to make and support change and who will live our values.
  • Management and oversight of the of the apprenticeship strategy for the organisation.
  • Commissioning, procurement and monitoring of apprenticeship training providers.
  • Operational management of systems and processes related to apprenticeships.
  • Management and oversight of early career opportunities e.g., work experience
  • Line management of a small team
