Job DescriptionTraining Coordinator Apprenticeship - Guinness Beer Packaging SiteRuncorn, EnglandFull Time – Fixed Term Contract 18-24 monthsSalary: £18,018 per annum with annual salary reviewWork Pattern: 35 hours per week. Usually 08.30-16.30 – hours can be flexible.About UsOur Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. It’s an intricate and sophisticated operation that’s the product of logistical, manufacturing, and technical collaborations.We operate Guinness packaging facilities at Marshalls Road in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Runcorn, in North West England, producing canned, bottled and kegged product for Ireland, UK and export markets. Significant investment is underway at both of these locations. This role is site based at Runcorn which is an 18 Acre site running a 24/7 Operation with 4 rotational crews.  It has 2 Bottling, 2 Canning lines and 1 Kegging production line.  There are 90+ SKUs with 16 different Beer/Liquid types covering producing on average 23million cases of product per annum.About The RoleDiageo based at Runcorn has a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to join their talented Capability Team as a Training Co-ordinator Apprentice on an 18-month fixed term contract.Safely working in an office/manufacturing environment you’ll be expected to deliver and improve processes of administrative management of the training function. You will engage with the continuous improvement agenda seeking out new opportunities to take an active role in training process improvement, and play an active part in delivering the Training, Compliance and Equipment Capability strategy. You will work towards your L3 Learning & Development qualification and ensure all aspects of the framework are included and supported in your working activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate, facilitate and support delivery of training as defined in the site’s training and development plans and skills matrices, to support our world class manufacturing excellence aspirations.
  • Work closely with Capability Manager, Equipment Capability Specialists to deliver site T&D plans
  • Support creation and control of all assessment documentation where required, liaising with team members
  • Responsible for all training administration and documentation, to include tracking, compliance and filing.
  • Development and maintenance of site training systems and databases
  • Support delivery and management of the e-learning platform – reports and communications
You will be assigned a mentor/assessor to guide you through the apprenticeship and carry out monthly learning sessions plus quarterly reviews along to guide you through your standard/framework and develop portfolio building/behavioural logs. Also support with the skills needed and prior to embarking on the End Point Assessment.Entry RequirementsEntry requirements for the apprenticeship are :-GCSE’s A-C or Level 5-9 in English, Mathematics as a minimum. Any additional qualifications or office skills experience would be beneficial.
