Are you looking to further your education? Have you considered an Apprenticeship?

Alongside completing a Level 2 qualification, you will gain experience working within the industry.

Within the role you will be responsible for the day-to-day store management of our stores equipment which will include stock / equipment management, allocation, organisation, operation and administration. You will learn how to service and repair our land-based machines and equipment, including replacing parts and checking and calibrating instruments. During the apprenticeship you will study everything from basic engineering skills to the latest technological advancements in electro-hydraulics and computerised control systems.

This is a fixed term, two-year apprenticeship study programme. Your hourly rate of pay will increase from the national apprenticeship wage within your second year of apprenticeship to the national minimum wage of your age group.

About You

To apply for the role, you will have a good level of general education with a level of literacy and numeracy at Level 1 or equivalent (GCSE grade E or above). You will be keen to work towards an achievement of full Administration Apprenticeship standards.

Any previous experience of working outdoors with landbased machines or construction plant equipment would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided. You will however be a strong team player, hard working and keen to learn and develop yourself.
